Build Forecast Models Other People Can Use Without You
You should not be the emergency repair service for every spreadsheet in the finance team. But when you are the only confident modeller, that is exactly what happens. The forecast lives in your workbook. The reporting pack depends on your formulas. Month-end slows down when you are on holiday. A colleague opens the file, changes the wrong cell and sends you a message that begins with, "Quick question." Spreadsheet Multiplier gives you a repeatable way to build clear, auditable models and hand them over with confidence. Over six live weeks, you will build a working forecast model. You will add controls and checks, document assumptions and create a handover process your colleagues can follow. You will also learn how to teach the method without becoming permanent spreadsheet support. This is for management accountants, finance managers and financial controllers in UK companies with 20 to 250 employees. It is built for the person who is already trusted with the numbers but is tired of being the only person trusted with the workbook. By the end, you will have more than a better spreadsheet. You will have a safer way to build, explain and transfer spreadsheet models. You will know:

What you get

How to structure a forecast so inputs, calculations and outputs are easy to trace

How to build checks that expose broken formulas and unexpected movements

How to document assumptions without writing a 40-page manual

How to prepare a colleague to update the model safely

How to stop every spreadsheet question coming back to you
What people say
I rebuilt our 13-week cash flow forecast during the course and handed the weekly update to our assistant accountant. She now completes it in 25 minutes, checks included. I review the movements instead of repairing formulas.
Month-end used to pause if I took a day off because nobody wanted to touch the reporting workbook. After adding clear inputs, control totals and a one-page handover, my management accountant ran the pack without me. Nothing broke. I even kept my phone off.
The big win was stopping the same forecast questions every Friday. I used the teaching method from Spreadsheet Multiplier to train two colleagues in one session. Support messages dropped from around 15 a week to two.

Questions
Is Spreadsheet Multiplier worth £695 if I already know Excel?
This is not an Excel basics course. It is for accountants who can already build a forecast but keep becoming the only person trusted to maintain it. You will build a working forecast model, add practical checks and controls, document assumptions, and create a handover process your team can follow. The return is fewer repair jobs, faster updates, and less key-person risk at month-end.
How much time will I need each week?
Allow around three hours a week for six weeks: one live session plus focused build time. You will work on a forecast model during the course, so the practice produces something useful rather than another abandoned training exercise. Dates and deadlines are set before the cohort starts, making it easier to plan around month-end.
What if month-end clashes with a live session?
You will receive the session recording and supporting materials, so one busy close does not derail the course. You can catch up before the next session and bring questions to the following live class. The course is designed for working finance teams, not people with suspiciously empty calendars.
Will this work with the spreadsheets we use in our business?
Yes, if you use spreadsheets for management reporting, forecasting or month-end. The method is built around common finance problems: unclear inputs, hidden assumptions, fragile formulas, missing checks and handovers that rely on memory. You can apply the approach whether your source data comes from Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, NetSuite or exported CSV files.
Am I experienced enough for the course?
You should be comfortable with formulas, linked sheets and basic forecast logic. You do not need VBA, Power Query or advanced coding skills. If colleagues already send you the difficult workbook because you are the safest pair of hands, you are likely at the right level.
Will it still help if my colleagues are not strong spreadsheet users?
That is the point. You will learn to make models easier to update safely, with clear input areas, visible assumptions, checks, instructions and defined ownership. You will also use a repeatable method for teaching colleagues without turning every handover into unlimited helpdesk cover.

Build the models. Train the team. Stop being the spreadsheet bottleneck.
